Talk title: Functional analysis of spinal V1 neurons in zebrafish larvae

Spinal neuronal circuits can produce different speeds of locomotion. However, the mechanisms underlying this are poorly understood. In this talk, I will show that V1 spinal neurons (inhibitory neurons that express En1 transcription factor) play critical roles in generating fast swimming and suppressing slow muscle activity during fast swimming in larval zebrafish.
